BOLD COLOR AND METALLICS BRING FRESH NEW TAKE ON ARCHIVAL TIMBERLAND SILHOUETTES
NOVEMBER 21, 2024 - Following two highly successful releases in Fall ’22 and Spring ‘24, including the heralded “Glazed Donut” silhouette, Timberland unveils its third collaboration with multi-disciplinary creative and renowned stylist Veneda Carter.
Carter’s unique vision and longtime love of the brand are evident, offering a fresh perspective on classic Timberland styles. The capsule collection also includes four versatile apparel pieces designed for the cooler months, providing complete looks for a new generation of Timberland enthusiasts.
In footwear, the Timberland® x Veneda Carter 14-Inch Lace w/ Zip Boot stands out with its vibrant blue and silver color palette. Inspired by Timberland’s EuroDub boot from the 2000s, this durable lace-up boot features a premium patent leather upper, a convenient side zipper, EVA footbed for comfort, and ReBOTL™ fabric lining made from at least 50% recycled plastic.
Not to be outshined, the Timberland® x Veneda Carter 6-Inch Waterproof Boot features the original iconic silhouette in bold silver patent leather. With a seam-sealed waterproof construction, premium patent leather upper, full-grain leather collar, ReBOTL™ fabric lining, and an EVA footbed, this boot combines durability and comfort. The rubber lug outsole offers reliable traction for sure footing with every step.
On the apparel side, Carter introduces four essential pieces for fall—each crafted from durable Cordura Fabric. Inspired by the concept of a cold weather layering system, the pieces can be worn together or individually, depending on the wearer’s preference and environmental conditions. The oversized Veneda Ravine Parka features a double placket, 2-way zipper, utility pockets, and an adjustable waist and hem. The Veneda Vest combines warmth and versatility, with mesh fabric for lightweight insulation, concealed zip hip pockets, and reflective piping for visibility in low light. The oversized Veneda Boiler Suit offers a one-piece garment with full side leg zippers, zipped chest pockets, and an adjustable hem for added customization. The Veneda 2-in-1 Skirt is designed for modern versatility, featuring hip pockets and a fully adjustable length and hem. Complete the set with the Veneda Cross Body Bag, which includes a puff body with oversized piping details and an inner zipped pocket.
“At the time I started working on this collection with Timberland, I was very drawn to stainless steel and chrome furniture, which comes to life in the silver patent leather. The inspiration on the tall boot, on the other hand, came from a discontinued blue Euro Dub colorway that I loved. It all comes together with a monochromatic apparel capsule that is both elevated and practical for everyday wear. You can see how the pieces can easily be layered and worn together – something that was important to me.”
