On Tuesday, September 9, Timberland unveiled its global campaign, Advice of an Icon with legendary filmmaker and creative, Spike Lee. The event took place at the Brooklyn Museum, highlighted by an intimate dinner on the front portico overlooking the Eastern Parkway - the first to ever take place in this space. VIP's, tastemakers, influencers, press, and industry leaders all gathered to celebrate an unwavering commitment to artistry and an unrelenting dedication to craft.  

The Advice of an Icon campaign is a tribute to those who embrace authenticity, push creative boundaries, and lead with bold conviction, inspiring others to do the same and reinforcing Timberland's legacy as a symbol of resilience and innovation. For over 50 years, the Original Yellow Boot™ has stood as a symbol of strength, resilience, and fearlessness, shaping generations past, present, and future. 

Known for his fearless, provocative storytelling and decades of cultural influence, Spike Lee brings his unmistakable presence to the Advice of an Icon campaign. Earlier in the evening, he brought this same spirit to life at the Brooklyn Museum in a conversation hosted by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson - a globally recognized creative director, editor, and cultural strategist who has become one of the most influential voices shaping contemporary culture. A true pioneer in cinema and culture, Spike delved into his legacy rooted in truth, integrity and a relentless pursuit of excellence, qualities that echo through every stitch of the Yellow Boot. 

Friends of Timberland transitioned to the balcony portico to enjoy dinner under the stars, with banners of Spike's now iconic campaign hung above across the museum's facade.
